Turbine DCS Operator

The Role

We are looking for a skilled Turbine DCS Operator to operate and monitor turbine generator (TG) systems through DCS/SCADA during shift. The role involves ensuring stable power generation, safe turbine operation, and coordination with boiler and process plant.

Responsibilities

• Operate turbine generator (TG) via DCS/SCADA systems
• ‍Monitor and control key parameters:
  • Turbine speed (RPM)
  • Load (kW)
  • Inlet steam pressure & temperature
  • Exhaust pressure & temperature
  ‍
• Ensure stable synchronization with grid/internal load
• ‍Monitor:
  • Lube oil & control oil pressure/temperature
  • Bearing temperatures (DE/NDE)
  • Vibration levels (turbine & gearbox)
  ‍
• Coordinate with boiler section for steam availability
• Maintain load balance as per plant demand
• ‍Handle start-up, shutdown, and emergency trips
• ‍Record and maintain shift logs in DCS/manual system
• ‍Ensure safe and efficient turbine operation

Qualifications

Must have

• Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in:
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Power Engineering
• 2–6 years in turbine / power plant operation
• Hands-on experience with DCS/SCADA systems
• Experience in distillery / power plant preferred

• Proper handling of trips, alarms, and emergency shutdowns
• Ensure safe and stable plant operation through DCS

• Ability to work in rotational shifts
