Lab Chemist (Ethanol & ENA)

The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Lab Chemist to join our ethanol and Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA) production facility. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining product quality, conducting laboratory analyses, and supporting efficient plant operations through accurate testing and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical tests, experiments, and analyses on raw materials and finished products
• Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples for testing
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration
• Record, analyze, and interpret experimental data
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
• Assist in research and development (R&D) activities
• Monitor quality control processes in manufacturing or production units
• Document results and prepare technical reports
• Ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory

Qualifications

Must have

• BSC GRADUATE - CHEMISTRY HONOURS
• 2+ years experience
