Dryer and Decanter Operator

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Dryer & Decanter Operator to operate and monitor drying and separation systems, ensuring smooth plant operation, product quality, and process efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage decanter centrifuges to separate whole stillage into wet cake and thin slop.
• Control dryer inlet/outlet temperatures to achieve target moisture (10–12%).
• Monitor DCS screens for feed rates, motor RPMs, and energy consumption.
• Inspect equipment for vibrations, leaks, or overheating in gearboxes and conveyors.
• Verify DDGS quality through regular sampling of color, texture, and dryness.
• Clear blockages in cyclones, chutes, and screw conveyors to prevent downtime.
• Maintain logs for steam consumption, production output, and chemical usage.
• Execute CIP (Cleaning-in-Place) cycles to prevent buildup and microbial growth.
• Follow fire safety protocols to prevent combustible dust explosions in the dryer.

Qualifications

Must have

• 10TH PASS TO ANY GRADUATE
• 3+ years experience
